Sweet potato fries!
A bar snack that was extremely popular during our time in London, be it in the pubs paired with a pint or at home, again, paired with a pint and a movie night with friends.
This was a dish that we held close to our hearts back then and now on returning home to India.
Having learnt how to make it from a friend during our time there, the dish has been tweaked time and time again only to produce the same results- delicious, fuss free and healthy fries!
Five ingredients is all you need:
Crushed black pepper
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder
Crushed dried herbs(oregano works best)
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl and dry rub on the chopped potato wedges.
Either shallow fry in a pan for 15mins or bake in the oven for 20mins or until golden brown and soft.
